Spend the weekend learning, playing, connecting, challenging yourself, and growing in this Summer Improv Intensive!
Just as language learners become fluent more easily when immersed in a foreign culture, improv students can more easily get the improv-quantum-leap they crave when they are immersed in an intensive experience that allows them to fully relax into the tools of the trade.

The schedule includes leisurely, home-cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner meals as well as break-times to wander the beautiful grounds, take a nap, meditate by the pond, strum your guitar, or whatever sounds good to you.
This weekend experience, is suitable for all levels. We will have separate workshops for beginners and experienced improvisers as well as times when the whole group learns and plays together.
We will delve deeply into skills such as drawing from personal experience, noticing and building on authentic moments in the scene, and surfing mistakes to success.
As an added feature, there will be a talent night (*Retreat favorite*) on Saturday evening after the day of workshops where you can share that poem you wrote a year ago, tell a story from your life, practice an improv game, dance or sing a song – whatever best helps you to express yourself!
Be prepared for a creative infusion-

A weekend of lots of laughter, tons of learning and uninterrupted improv fun.

Want a DOUBLE-SHOT of relaxation, learning and beauty?
Add an extra night: Thursday, July 21!

Thursday’s Schedule:

Arrival time: 4- 5 p.m.

Life Path Workshop: Discover Your Purpose,  Live With Joy with Anoo Tree Brod

Friday is a day to enjoy yourself and your retreat friends in any way you choose. Bring a book, journal, mediation mat, guitar… whatever the hell you desire.  In addition, included in this extra night is a free, personalized, mini Life Path session with Anoo on Friday.
